Since moving to Tiptree in 1976 I have thoroughly enjoyed village life and have raised my family, a daughter and a son, here.

In the 40 years that I have spent here I have run my own small business buying and selling cosmetics and my spare time activites have included being a Govenor at St Lukes' School and carrying out some administrative work for the church.

In recent years I worked as an accountant for a Wickford based company but, having retired from there in December 2014, I electedto offer my services to the village as a Parish Councillor in order that I might give something back to the community.

Having spent a year and a bit as a Parish Councillor, in which time I have served on most of the committees, I was approached tobecome a Colchester Borough Councillor and I was duly elected in May 2016. Tiptree is known internationally and I look forward to helping to promote it for all it has to offer.

I do love my garden and, apart from keeping it tidy, I have a real passion for growing my own vegetables and I now spend as muchtime in it as I can.
