There is a  vacancy for a Parish Councillor

The Parish Council plays a vital role in determining the future of this village. Your input could really make a difference to your community. You would be actively involved in determining how budgets are spent and have an input into the consultation process for planning applications.

You don’t need any special qualifications to become a parish councillor, but you do need to either have lived or worked in Tiptree for a least 12 months and have a commitment to getting the best for your local community. The Parish Council meets most Monday evenings at The Community Centre and you would need to be available for a minimum of 2 meetings per month.

If you feel that you could help shape the future of Tiptree, why not call into the Parish Council Office for an informal chat and find out more or down load an application form HERE and return it to the Parish Council Office
