Tiptree Parish Council wishes to appoint a Deputy Clerk to assist the Clerk of the Council in the day to day operation of this busy Parish Council.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate previous administrative experience preferably in a Local Government environment and be able to work to deadlines. Ideally you will hold the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CILCA) or be prepared to undertake the training and obtain the qualification within 1 year of appointment.  Please find a Job Description and Person Specification below.

The hours will be 25 per week, actual hours to be discussed at interview, but this will include attendance at a minimum of 2 evening meetings per month. Car owner/driver essential. Entry to the Local Government Pension scheme is available
