Anchor Road Junctions NEPP Consultation May 2025

Anchor Road Junctions NEPP Consultation May 2025

Over a year ago Tiptree Parish Council asked for your opinion on our proposal for a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for double red lines at the junctions of Anchor Road. To Introduce No Stopping at Any Time Red Route restrictions on Anchor Road, Tiptree, at its junctions with Maldon Road, Station Road, Gladstone Road, Coriander Road, Rectory Road, Saffron Way and the access road to numbers 30 to 48 Anchor Road.

We are pleased to announce that the North Essex Parking Partnership have decided to go ahead with a consultation on a TRO.

All you need to do is comment on their proposed TRO, if you wish. You can make a comment on their proposal whether you agree with it or not. If you wish to comment on a specific part of it, please make it clear what you are referring to, remember the people assessing the comments most likely do not live in Tiptree.

Please note there are other Colchester Roads on the consultation.

The consultation will start on 08/05/2025 and will run for 23 days, ending on 30/05/2025.

A copy of the proposed Order with plans showing the specified lengths of roads, a Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and a copy of the Order CCC71 may be viewed at https://north.parkingpartnership.org/traffic-regulation/

Anyone who wishes to comment on the proposed Orders can do so online at:

  • or send their grounds for objection in writing at Techteam@colchester.gov.uk
  • or to TRO Comments, North Essex Parking Partnership, PO Box 5575, Colchester, CO1 9LT by 30/05/2025
