Essex County Council (ECC) has a Members’ Highways Initiative to remediate a backlog of highway repairs. The intention is to concentrate on a batch of repairs in an area. The next window of opportunity for Tiptree commences early in January 2026.
The scheme covers asphalt surfaces such as the carriageway and pavements maintained by ECC, any associated white markings on these surfaces and vegetation rooted on highways land that is causing an obstruction to passage.
If you know of any such repairs that are outstanding, or in future any new ones, please report them to Tiptree Parish Council (TPC) so that we can update our list and pass the most urgent ones to ECC for inclusion into the scheme.

To be considered a report should contain a clear photograph and description of the issue and a clear indication of its location, please supply as much location information as possible:
